New day new stuff, slept like a baby man... no it doesn't mean that i woke up every 4 hours crying and wanting to suck on nipples and drink milk
(i would'nt mind that, after all i'm in a country where "dutch lady" milk originates innit!!)
i meant i slept really really well, till about 9. Cheese, bread, and a good cuppa coffee! Superb stuff i tell you, sorry no picture once again. don't have the habit of taking pictures of whatever i eat. apparently the typical dutch people eat like this every morning.
next was to walk the dogs! sander was in school, so i went with his dad, whom is also the owner/chef of the restaurant. had a good talk with him. Told me that he started in the kitchen since he was 12, till now 59! worked in Italy, america, the royal dutch navy etcetc.
Beautiful weather today, nice and sunny, cool spring breeze, FRESH AIR!!! WOOHOO! till the stench of cow dung came... damn man, it's everywhere, But it's better than car exhaust though.
looking at it, i thought to myself, why the lambs never get heart attack, look at the pic and you'll know why.
no customers for lunch today, but staff( the dad, mum and me) had a good taste of proper dutch croquettes, awesome i tell you, the casing was like any croquettes, dark golden colour and crispy. BUT when you crack open it, WHAO!!! the potatos filling oozed out like black gold(only thing it's white ok!) with tiny chunks of meat. THE POTATOES! WOOOHOO!! orgasimic smooth silky and slightly starchy with a hint of nutmeg. i was like WOW!! with a little bit of mustard! FWAH! hahaha! hungry yet?
than came dinner,(again no pictures, sorry) broad beans with bacon and mushrooms, polenta(soft, succulently savory with a crispy skin), and, powerful powerful milk fed venison!!
Sander came back for dinner we walked the dogs again,
than he asked me to accompany him to his workplace for a couple of mins, i was like oh well why not? at least i can move around abit on the bicycle. After accompanying him to work, i took a cycle around, and first thing that caught my eye, was the cemetry! it was a beautiful and peaceful sight to see!

Went through a connecting forest, scenary's still beautiful, I LOVE SPRING! no ladies to see today though, But better, cause they's distract me from the place and scenary.
cycled back and started helping in the kitchen, talking about food, sex and booze, to the cleaner(he's morrocan), and then helping in preparing the dishes, getting spinach, and all the a'la min mis-en-place.
Simple plating, But the chef's food is all in the taste! powerfull stuff. It's amazing how things taste in the country, than if we actually try to copy and make it in another place, i think it's something to do with the water, or how the ingrediants are being grown.

helped out in the kitchen today, unlike yesterday, where i had a tasting overdose of cheese, wines, whiskey, dutch gin, basically, almost the whole holland (besides real food). had gooder stuff, like tarbot(don't know? check wikipedia), good mustard, licorice, oysters(orgasmically good!!! gonna buy more the next time they go marketing But for myself) thier oysters prized according to the number of zeros, the more zeros the oysters are graded the better the quality and oyster season are in the months with the letter "R" in egs: maRch/septembeR etcetc, and thier home made cheese terrine. Once again guys sorry got no pictures of the food HAHAHAHA! nahnahnee booboo!! oh and i made a special lunch for the Dogs! lamb hearts,

Hi Son, Michelle is right lor ..the place is beautiful......... take care of yourself remember to use glove ha ha ........... you know what I means.I think you like the place.
